What We're Watching....
Searching the world over for the meaning and origins of happiness, it’s a great reminder about the simplicity of life. The intro line from the movie quotes, Benjamin Franklin, “the Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.” In times like these it’s a good reminder.

Plug In and Chill Out
"Out of all my playlist's I have created, this one is my favorite. I think the songs on here are feel-good, chill-out tracks that you can either listen to at home while reading a good book, at the spa getting a facial, or poolside at the tropical wellness retreat, Four Seasons Sensei Lanai. Wherever you are, this Spotify playlist is perfect for relaxing while enjoying your day."

Behind the Scenes at The Ranch Malibu with Sue Glasscock
This week's Behind the Scenes features Sue Glasscock, Co-Founder and Creative Director of The Ranch Malibu. Sue explains her inspiration for creating the property, what The Ranch offers its guests, and how gardening has kept her busy during the pandemic.
“My husband Alex and I share a passion for healthy and balanced living and created The Ranch Malibu program to offer a destination for people to get healthy, reset their minds and bodies and return to nature in an 'off the grid' setting.
During this time I have loved being able to work in our certified organic garden. We have been harvesting and providing produce baskets for our staff and community since mid-March. Offering support in this way has been incredibly rewarding. I find my time in the garden to be a meditative experience and an opportunity to connect with nature on a
deeper level. Getting your hands into the soil also has the power to change your brain chemistry. There is a bacterium in there that triggers the release of serotonin and improves cognitive function, so don't be afraid to get a little dirty! We've also been enjoying our harvest, using our fresh produce to cook recipes from our newest plant-based cookbook FOOD FOOD FOOD."
