Positive Updates from COVID

Not to make light of serious situation and one that has put us all in peril, and we know has affected you. But we wanted to take a moment and pause on some of the great things to celebrate in these changing times.

The End of Airline Change Fees

Finally, you can change a flight without the burden of paying a fee that sometimes cost more than the flight itself. While Southwest Airlines has long been the only airline offering no change fees, we finally saw the “Big 3” follow suit this week beginning with United Airlines. Once United announced they were eliminating change fees on domestic tickets (excluding basic economy fares), Delta and American Airlines quickly updated their policies as well.

Now Cleaner Than Ever

Airline travel is more pleasant and clean than it has ever been. Prior to COVID, airlines were turning planes with little regard to how clean the aircraft were sometimes only cleaning them on a weekly basis. Now, they are taking extra time to ensure their aircrafts are safer and more comfortable for guests to fly. Been to an airport lately? Same thing, but also fewer lines and less hassle. Talk about being extra careful…check out how JetBlue has created a game changing UV cleaning system for aircraft interiors.
