Active Outdoor Adventures – See A Familiar Destination Through A Whole New Perspective

Looking for a new take on an already familiar destination such as Hawaii or Costa Rica? Or, how about a guilt free way to enjoy Napa? One thing we've learned from this year is how to discover domestic destinations that are as exotic and awe-inspiring as anything around the globe such as Zion National Park. We've handpicked some of the Camelback favorites from one of our favorite partners, DuVine. Or let's work together to custom design your own active destination.

Costa Rica

Take advantage of Costa Rica’s natural playground: cycle the rainforest trails and the active Arenal Volcano, raft the Class III rapids of the Sarapiqui River, soar above the Arenal reserve by zipline or surf Tamarindo Bay. Celebrate the joy of life and discover the country by bike while stopping to appreciate the beauty of the beaches and staggering biodiversity.

Hawaii

Maui is known for its untamed geography and the routes which connect its many regions provide the best overview of Hawaii’s natural beauty, wildlife and local culture. Cycle iconic routes like the Road to Hana, Kahekili Highway and Halekalā volcano while pedaling past jungle waterfalls, lava tubes, golden beaches and guava groves. Take a day off the bike and surf the world-famous waves or taste the fruits of Maui’s thriving farm to table culinary scene.

Napa & Sonoma

Abundant vineyards prove you don’t need to visit Europe to enjoy world-class wine. Ride your bike along the Pacific coast into wine country and stop at farm stands and tasting rooms in Napa and Sonoma. Stroll Healdsburg’s quaint town square while wine tasting and dine in Bodega Bay at a family-run Michelin starred restaurant. Explore the historic logging towns of Guerneville and Occidental, where the cowboy culture survives alongside a thriving wine industry.

Zion

The Southwest is a playground for outdoor adventurers, with dramatic rock formations and arches, rich human heritage and vibrant indigenous cultures. It’s home to year-round great weather with mild winters and perfect temperatures in shoulder seasons. Explore the unbelievable landscapes and soaring sandstone cliffs of Zion National Park by bike and on foot, descend on foot into a valley of otherworldly hoodoo formations in Bryce Canyon National Park and ride on the smoothly paved Red Canyon Bicycle Trail.

San Juan Islands

Discover this pristine part of the Pacific Northwest exploring San Juan Island, Lopez Island, Orcas Island, Whidbey Island and Fidalgo Island. Immerse yourself in the small-town life of Friday Harbor and Langley along with enjoying fresh, local seafood, including shucking your own oysters in Westcott Bay. Challenge yourself with a climb up Mount Constitution while enjoying the incredible views of the San Juan Islands and Olympic Mountains then take a private sunset cruise where you may spot orcas and dolphins.
